The definition of TANGENT is a completely different line of thought or action. I LOVE PRETTY FLOWER ARRANGEMENTS. I love decorating and design. I love fashion. I love shopping. I love to laugh. I love inspiring quotes. I love DIY.  And certainly not least, I love sharing relatable things! So you see, I cannot simply post about one topic. FLOWERS are my passion, but I’ll go off on a tangent and post about it all! And, while I’m doing it, I’ll highlight unique, interesting, and outside-the-box concepts.

A Bit About Yours Truly

Hi! I’m Debora Eastcott! I’m a 40 something mom of two teens and two doggies, Amelia and Ryker, and Finley Moose and Biscuit. Together, with their dad, Blaine, we live in sunny Los Angeles. I moved here many years ago from my homeland of Vancouver Island, Canada to attend Pepperdine University in Malibu. There, I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutritional Science, and a future with my husband to be! 😉

Soon after, I started experimenting with flowers and fell in love. I started my flower business, (called GreenStem Floral Design), and there my passion for creativity and design flourished.  I’m a self-proclaimed photo freak who forces her family and friends to take photos…(they will thank me one day!!).  A few of my favorite things are hanging with the fam, playing the piano, redecorating my home, and shopping with my girlies!  I find laughter to be the glue that holds everything together and keeps me sane. I’m so grateful to be part of a goofy family that laughs a lot!  I have developed a persistent desire to share flowery, creative, inspiring, relatable, stylish, and laughable things.

I plan to share with you my FLOWER INSPIRATION CREATIONS, my favorite finds, things that are super pretty, things that may make a simple, yet profound transformation, things that may help you make a design or decorating decision, things that will make you smile or laugh out loud, things that will make you say, “I wanna do/make/create/buy that!”.
