Celebrate Mom

A lovely aray of Mother's Day Brunch Tables.

They are both stylish and tasty !

What is your perfect Mother’s Day brunch?  I know what you are thinking, anything as long as you are with family and loved ones.  I totally agree!  However, I’ve been doing some research and have come across some really pretty, tasty ideas and thought I’d share!  I don’t know about you, but the decor and tablescape are just as important to me as the food…and flowers are a must- even if it’s just the flower heads spread out across the table!

I LOVE a pop of color with my flowers and love this simple, elegant table featuring a row of tulips in clear jars centered down the length of the table. This is so light and airy and pretty!

This centerpiece is absolutely amazing!  I love it’s rustic, organic, yet classy design. The variety of garden roses are stunning with just the right amount of color.  These flowers paired with a scattering of fruit on a rustic table is an outdoor brunch dream!

OF COURSE coffee or tea has to make it to the table, right?! I wish I could make some pretty macaroons!  Maybe I’ll take a class one day and learn how to make them (I’ll add that to my list)!  I can make a good cup of coffee though!  And, I can arrange simple tulips in a cute little container. You can even use a colorful little cup or glass and cut the tulip stems really short and just place them in.  It’s so easy.  Arranging a few of these little tulip cups together across the table would be lovely!  If tea is your preference, these super cute “Best Mum Ever” dunking cookies are a super cool idea, don’t ya think?!

Muffins and flowers…YES please! Almost any muffin, or flower, will do!  I would be so excited to have muffins prepared for me for Mother’s Day!  It’s so simple and I really think my kids could pull this one off (hint, hint in case you are reading this)! Sometimes it’s the little things that make the most impact!

I looooove a rustic meal, with rustic dishes and rustic flowers!  This meal looks amazing to me with all the fresh berries.  It screams homemade and hearty! I love a meal where you can layer up and create your own plate of perfection.  It’s very personal and why not let your mom create her own yummy dish!  A jar filled with green hydrangea is the perfect natural touch that won’t overpower the colors on the plate! Simply, organically, beautiful.

This is a lovely centerpiece with the muted pastels roses.  The light pink and cream color palette is classy and stunning in this tablescape.  I love the sprig of greenery in the napkin rings!  You can add almost any type of greens to your napkin ring and it just adds that little extra touch to make your table that much more special. Of course the “MOM!” place card is so sweet…as are these mom and child arm-in-arm mugs!  Who thought of that?!  So clever! Doesn’t it put a smile on your face?!  ~Happy Mother’s Day!!
